Thinking about buying a home but not sure where to start? Join the Tacoma-Pierce County Association of REALTORS® for a free community Homebuyer Fair & Expo designed to help prospective buyers navigate the path to homeownership with confidence.

This consumer-focused event brings together trusted local housing professionals, housing counselors, down-payment assistance programs, lenders, community organizations, and homeownership resources all in one place — with no pressure and no sales pitch.

Attendees will have the opportunity to:

  • Connect directly with REALTORS®, housing counselors, and local housing organizations
  • Learn about down-payment assistance and affordable financing programs
  • Attend mini education sessions led by industry experts
  • Explore resources for first-time buyers, VA buyers, workforce households, and moderate-income families
  • Gain a better understanding of credit, financing, inspections, closing costs, and the overall homebuying process
  • Participate in a featured Washington State Housing Finance Commission First-Time Homebuyer Course

Throughout the day, rotating educational sessions will cover topics such as:

  • Understanding Down-Payment Assistance
  • What Lenders Look For
  • VA Financing Options
  • Home Inspections Explained
  • Avoiding Real Estate Scams & Fraud
