ADUs and Beyond: Residential Zoning & Development Opportunities- 3 CE
This class teaches a practical approach to understanding residential zoning, ADUs, and broader development opportunities in today’s evolving housing landscape. Students will learn how recent Washington legislation expands ADU potential and increases what can be built on residential properties. They will also learn how to identify opportunities, avoid missteps, and advise clients with confidence in a changing market.
Through real-world examples and clear frameworks, this course breaks down how zoning, density rules, and site constraints impact what is actually feasible, with a strong focus on ADU development and small-scale infill opportunities.
