Government Affairs Committee

The purpose of the Government Affairs Committee is to advocate on behalf of members and their clients and to advise and make recommendations to the Board of Directors on matters of advocacy policy that require Board approval, to include developing and periodically update Position Statements on various government-related issues. The Government Affairs Committee shall encourage participation among the membership in grassroots political activity, to monitor local legislation, regulatory and legal issues affecting the real estate industry, and to promote the professional services provided by REALTOR®s and TPCAR and to oversee the activities of the REALTOR® Political Action Committee (RPAC).
